2. Zero Sensitive Personal Data Collection

We respect user privacy. Nepal Sarkari Sewa Guide NEVER collects, asks for, transmits, or stores sensitive personal identification information, including but not limited to:

• Citizenship Certificate Numbers (नागरिकता नम्बर)
• Passport Numbers (राहदानी नम्बर)

• Permanent Account Numbers (PAN)

3. Local On-Device Data Storage (Offline-First)

To provide a fast and reliable user experience, your saved service bookmarks, local government preferences, and recently viewed services are encrypted and stored locally on your device using Android’s Room Database & Preferences DataStore. This data stays strictly on your mobile device and is never uploaded or sold to external servers.

4. Third-Party Services & Analytics

The application integrates trusted Google services to ensure app stability and ad funding:

• Google AdMob: Used to display non-intrusive banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect anonymous device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Used to monitor technical app performance, detect system crashes, and improve application speed. No personally identifiable information (PII) is gathered.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our application is designed for general audiences seeking information on public services in Nepal. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 13.

6. App Permissions

The application requests minimal standard Android permissions required for basic utility functions:

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To fetch updated official government links, display AdMob ads, and load web portals inside Android Custom Tabs.
• CALL_PHONE / Dialer: Allows users to initiate 1-click calls to official public emergency helplines (e.g. 100, 101, 102, 1111) via the native phone dialer.
